When Goulston was founded in 1937, the sole purpose of our Lurol® fiber lubricant was to protect woolen and worsted fiber surfaces to enable mill processing. In the 1950s and 60s, Lurol formulations were developed for synthetic fibers such as nylon, polyester and acrylic. Goulston is still innovating and providing new solutions today. Our fiber lubricants modify polymer and fiber surfaces to add value in both the downstream manufacturing processes and the end-use applications.
