Our History
Goulston Technologies was founded over 60 years ago. Since that time we have established ourselves as the largest dedicated supplier of fiber lubricants to the US Fiber Industry. In 1988 Takemoto Oil & Fat Company, located in Gamagori City, purchased Goulston. Takemoto produces a wide range of fine chemicals and formulated products for use in the textile, construction, plastic and agricultural industries. The combination of these two companies, along with their dedication to research and development, technical services and marketing, has created the premier source of fiber lubricant technologies in the world.
Goulston's research and development, manufacturing and marketing facilities are located in Monroe, North Carolina. In addition, an extensive global network of representatives is in place to service all major fiber producing and processing companies worldwide.
