| HYDREPELTM is a trademarked line of masterbatch products for polypropylene resins. HYDREPEL TM alters the contact angle and imparts extreme hydrophobicity to a PP surface. Dosed with as little as 3% HYDREPELTM, PP SMxS fabrics show excellent repellency against water, ethanol and isopropanol for medical applications. Additionally, our melt additive imparts softness to the PP fabric and has no negative affect on HSH or MD/CD tensiles. |

| HYDREPELTM is available in two grades; one for spun bond and the other for melt blown webs. Each grade is compounded with the correct PP carrier resin to give excellent extrusion. |

| Polypropylene Hygiene |

| Goulston has developed a hydrophilic additive with excellent moisture management properties that can be used in a hygienic or non-hygienic applications. Durability teamed with good absorbency allows this product to be used in a variety of consumer products. Interestingly, the additive lowers the bending modulus of a Polypropylene spun bond fabric which improves softness of hand or drape. |

| Capitalizing on the ability of the hygienic additive to manage moisture, Goulston developed additional additives for industrial moisture management applications. At one extreme are applications requiring long term durability to repeated insults (i.e. agricultural field). At the other extreme are single use, high absorbency applications such as industrial spill clean up. For both, Goulston has developed a specialty additive for Polypropylene nonwovens. |
