| Non-wovens
Nonwovens continue to
be engineered for new applications and to replace traditional woven
or knit fabrics. These applications demand greater end use performance
at increased efficiency, reduced weight and cost. To meet these
requirements, topical treatments may be needed to enhance the performance
of the polymer or the nonwovens fabric. For instance, ADLs need
improved hydrophilicity for multiple insults and wipes need improved
water retention.
Each nonwovens process has different requirements and market competition
only makes the need for differentiated products more critical. The
chart below shows how topical treatment must perform to meet the
requirements. Goulston formulates customized lubricant systems for
each process to give you an edge.
